Christmas Party
We will be having our Daycare Christmas Party on December 21, 2012. Your child drew a name for their "Secret Santa". I sent home a note home saying who's name your child drew and the age of the child. The limit is $20. Your welcome to bring things to share with all, but please just let me know so we don't have all the same items. Please have their presents here on December 21, 2012.
Flu Season
Flu Season has approached us. Please if you have any questions as to if your child should attend daycare please feel free to ask. I've got a list from the The Children's Hospital of different things as to when to keep your child home with you. Just remember that a lot illnesses are contagious before symptoms appear.
Future News
There will be a slight increase in daycare fees starting January 1, 2013. Listed below is the old and new rates. I will be sending home a new contract addendum in November or December. I just wanted to give everyone a fair notice. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. (This is for families whom have started prior to Oct 1, 2012.) If you started after Oct 1, 2012 your rates have already been adjusted. Please if you have not returned the addendum's, please do so by December 21,2012.

Saturday, November 10, 2012 Wheat Ridge High School Cheerleaders will be having a Craft / Vendor Fair at Destination Dance Studio 7174 West. 44th Ave from 10AM-3PM. Start early on your Christmas shopping!

October Newsletter
Halloween Party
Just because I know how hectic Halloween day can be. We will be having our Halloween Party on Friday, October 26. That way the kids will not be overwhelmed with candy and treats come Halloween Day. Feel free to send your child in their costume or bring it to put on later. Treats are welcomed. There will be a max of 8 kids that day, with Kellie and I. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
School Schedules
As of every day I will only be taking and possibly picking Kellie up from school. There will be a few days a month I need to pick-up other kids from school. I will let everyone know the days when I am aware of the days. I will be leaving the house around the same time as last year. In the mornings we will leave about 7:40am on Monday's & 7:45am Tuesday - Friday. I will return around 8:10pm or 8:15pm. In the afternoons most days Jaycee will be picking Kellie up from school. But if I need to get her we will leave about 2:50pm and will return about 3:30pm.

Kellie's volleyball has started back in full swing. Most games are Tuesdays & Thursday with most of them being home games. So we will be going to 20th & Wadsworth for a lot of her games. They start at 4:00pm and are usually done around 4:45pm. Which will be putting us back home between 5:00pm & 5:15pm. I will keep everyone posted via text messages for exact dates and when we will be going.

I found out that Wheat Ridge High School Cheerleaders will be going to Nationals next year. I am just giving everyone heads up. The dates are set for March 2 & 3. I am unsure which days we will be going to California, but I will let everyone know, once I know more information.

On Monday, August 6 on my sister Jeni will be here watching daycare for me from 7:30am till around 3:30pm. We will not be going to the pool this day. I've got to take my kids in for Dr's appointments and their physicals before school starts. Also on Friday, August 24 she will be here from 6:45am till around 7:30am as I have a Dr. appointment as well.

Summer Fun!!!!!
This summer activities will be as followed. (Things may change due to weather or other activities may come up.)
Monday - Pool Day (Anderson Pool - 44th & Field or Berkley Pool - 46th & Sheridan)
Tuesday - Library Day (Wheat Ridge Library 32nd & Chase)
Wednesday - Movie Day (Looking for Free Movies, but if not. We'll do it at the house.)
Thursday - Park/Fountain Day (It may change from week to week, but I will let everyone know which park it will be.)
Friday - Yard Day (We'll stay here and play, run threw sprinklers, etc. From time to time we may add in another pool day, movie day, park/fountain day all depending on how many kids will be here.)
Walk-A-Thon
This years Walk-A-Thon was on June 1, 2012 from 10AM - 11AM. All the kids did very well! If you haven't turned in your money for this, please do so ASAP.

Wednesday - Movie Day (Looking for Free Movies, but if not. We'll do it at the house.)
Thursday - Park/Fountain Day (It may change from week to week, but I will let everyone know which park it will be.)
Friday - Yard Day (We'll stay here and play, run threw sprinklers, etc. From time to time we may add in another pool day, movie day, park/fountain day all depending on how many kids will be here.)

This years Walk-A-Thon was on June 1, 2012 from 10AM - 11AM. All the kids did very well! If you haven't turned in your money for this, please do so ASAP.

Walk-A-Thon
This year we will be having a Walk-A-Thon on June 1, 2012 from 10AM - 11AM. This will help fund some of our summer activities. I will be sending home this week a pledge sheet for each child. Our goal is to raise at least $600.00. If each family can raise $75.00 each, we will achieve our goal. If your child does not participate in the Walk-A-Thon to help raise money, then you will be expected to pay for the daily activity, which could range from $2-5. If you don't pay for the daily activity your child will be sitting the entire time we are there. If enough money is not raised for activities, then a small fee still may apply everyday. So let's make this a successful Walk-A-Thon!
Substitute
On Wednesday, May 9, 2012 my sister, Jeni, will be here from 4:00 till about 5:15 or so. We've got to go meet with Kellie's new school for next year. So if you pick-up during those times, she may be the one who is here.
Garage/Yard Sale
On May 18, 19, & 20 we will be having a Garage/Yard Sale to help raise money for Cheerleading Nationals. Your invited to come by and check out what we have to sell. We are also accepting donations of different items to be sold to help raise the money. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Summer Fun!!!!!
The summer is quickly approaching us and with that in mind. I've got to start planning what children will and will not be in daycare and what activities we will be doing. So please start thinking about if your child will be here for the summer. Also I will be sending home a Summer Fun Contract with permission slips for activities and sunscreen that needs to be filled out and returned to me by April 20, 2012.
Last but not least, since we had to get rid of our pool at the end of last season. We will be making other plans for this summer, such as going to Anderson Pool 1 day a week, get a small infant pool, use the sprinklers, etc. With these options being tossed around we will probably do a Walk-A-Thon so the pool is affordable. More info to come on this later this month, after I figure out what kiddos I will be having.

Flu Season
Flu Season is approaching us. Please if you have any questions as to if your child should attend daycare please feel free to ask. I've got a list from the The Children's Hospital of different things as to when to keep your child home with you. Just remember that a lot illnesses are contagious before symptoms appear.
